The Eagles Offseason Thread(all aboard the Brian Finneran bandwagon)

What positions and specific players do you want this offseason? Maybe some other things you'd like to see the Eagles do like re-up Spadaro's contract. Our biggest needs in order IMO:

1a. Top tier pass rushing DE to pair with Cole
1b. Elite #1 WR - how you gonna stop #85?
2. Nickel corner - Will James sucks, Lito always hurt
3. Safety - would be higher but Mikell played surprisingly well
4. Tight End
5. Return man
6. Offensive line depth - Herremans kinda sucked this year
7. Punter - Rocca sucks
8. Kicker - Akers is cooked

I'd put coach near the top, but we all know Andy is going nowhere. I'd address defensive end and receiver in free agency. We don't have time for any draft busts at those positions. We need impact players ASAP. I'd go secondary in the draft, and about the rest? No idea. Too early to say. I can't believe I didn't list linebacker on there. It suddenly is one of this team's biggest strengths.

I think that the Eagles will actually go after an elite #1 receiver this offseason. I have no idea why I think that, but the last time I had that kind of hunch was in 2004 when TO came here. Hopefully they repeat the trend.

chad johnson would be the superior aquisition...hes signed up for two more years which gives you a nice little window to go for it all before mcnabb is done

fitzgerald at five years younger is obviously the better long term solution and is a guy that can grow with cobb

i think ocho is significantly better because he has bigger play potential....fitzgerald is a little better version of keyshawn johnson...where as ocho is a notch below terrell owens
