In all fairness though Rome the local gas station owners make dick on selling gas, and it sounded like the owner personally knew some of these people.

an old fashioned is #1 because its a classic gentlemans drink from the roaring 20's and 30's and remained hugely popular at mens clubs and the like thru the 50's...i dont think they are listing these drinks so much by whats in them as much as how "classic" they are...plus a real old fashioned doesnt have water in it

A real old fashioned is made with syrup water, in at least equal proportions to bourbon.  It is solely designed to make bourbon not taste like alcohol, and it's a drink for girly men.

If the gas stations were owned & operated by the oil companies, I'd say farg'em.  But they are just franchises that make very little money from gas - most of their profits come from the convenience stores inside.

True but how many times do you see gas stations raise prices when there's no reason to raise them.  They were gouging motherfargers left and right during the storms down here a few years ago and nothing ever came of it.  They're still in business despite screwing over their "neighbors."

I don't have an ounce of sympathy for them when they get dicked over any more than I do when a bank gets robbed or an insurance company gets fleeced.
