so yesterday morning i went down to the lobby in my hotel and there were police everywhere.  this girl driving a beetle ran off the road, tumbled off an embankment, and then dropped about 30-40 to the ground, bouncing off some cars in the parking lot.  i was watching it on tv and outside my window at the same time.  in this picture, my rental car is the third from the bottom.  she just missed it.  the picture doesn't do the drop justice, it is a really big cement wall she fell over.

I don't really care about the perp..but the dead innocent person..that death is on the cops.  You got helicopters in the air.  Back off the chase, let the copters track him, take smart angles to surround him--the radio is way faster than the fleeing car--and bring the thing to a close without risking the lives of civilians.  No one..not even bank robbers...drive 100 mph weaving into oncoming traffic if the cops aren't on their tail.  Hot pursuit at speeds like that are stoopid.  Macho icehole cops.

Britney Spears is threatening to release video footage of one-time friend Paris Hilton in a lesbian romp with a mutual pal - if the socialite doesn't start treating her better.

London's Daily Mail newspaper has been alerted to a letter Spears' camp has sent to Hilton, demanding The Simple Life star stops being rude to Britney and members of her entourage.

They reportedly threatened to leak the footage, which shows Hilton in a compromising position with another woman, unless her attitude changes.

A source says, "The letter warns Paris that if she continues being rude to people, the footage will be leaked online."

Australia's Sydney Daily Telegraph reports the former friends fell out at Spears' 26th birthday parties in Hollywood last weekend.

But a source close to Hilton tells the Mail, "It's obvious Britney and her bratty pals are being silly. Paris laughed when she got the letter and said it was c**p."

Hilton was the star of sex tape '1 Night In Paris', which was shot by her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon - Pamela Anderson's new husband.
