187. Rock Bottom – Rocky Pale Ale - B-. Standard PA beer, but nothing special.
188. Rock Botton St. Vincent - C-. Wasn't memorable.
189. Rock Bottom Choco Loco - C-. It was spicy, and citrusy.  Not chocolaty at all.
190. Bistro Ginger Beer - D. WHOA!  Very strong ginger taste, and me no likee.
191. Easy Street Wheat (Odell Brewery) - A-. Yet another Colorado beer I have found I like.
192. Kona Longboard - A. Kona makes some good beers.
193. Hinanu (Tahiti) - C.  Average, far-east beer. Not sure if it's rice, ginger, or what, but these all pretty much taste the same.

21 beers to go. I think I'm going to finish.

I had some Magic Hat this summer, but missed that one.  I love the hops, and will have to look for it.

I never heard of it myself. I was driving back from upstate NY over holiday and stopped off 81 to get gas. The little gas store in bumfarg NY had some nice beers. So I spent 3.32 per gallon on gas and 10 bucks for a 6'er. Made spending the money on gas all worth it!

194. Winter's Bourbon Cask (Old Chicago) C-. Not a fan of the Bourbon casks
195. St. Nicholas Christmas Ale - C. Nothing special or memorable of this beer.
196. Shiner Bock - B-. I think everyone has had this one.
197. Pilsner Urquell - C+. Not a huge Pilsner fan, but this was decent.
198. Fuller's ESB - A. I love my hops and bitter ales.
199. Fuller's Porter - B+. A pretty good beer.
200. Weber Backyard Brew (by Goose Island, Chicago). B+. This was good. It's a special brew by GI just for Weber's, which is a great restaurant in Chicago if you get out there. Corner of State and Grand.
201. Truman Pils C. It was OK, but nothing special.
202. Abita Turbodog B. A good, heavy beer.  Hint of chocolate.

27 days and 12 beers to go.  No more business trips this year, so I will have to try harder.

We had a benefit pig roast this past saturday for a friend and had 4 kegs of troeggs beer donated for free. Sunshine Pilsner and The Pale Ale. Pale Ale was fantastic. Pilsner was surprisingly pretty hoppy.

My Mr. Beer homebrew kit finished its fermentation.  Ended up tasting pretty damn good.  I added brown sugar and honey to kick up the alcohol content.  It should be aroudn 7.5%, and has a nice smooth taste.  For christmas i asked my parents for a real homebrew system.

My buddy runs a home-brew club out here (shameless plug for him: http://www.garagebrewers.com/) and they meet at least once a month.  He usually brews about 2 to 3 beers a month, and while some are better than others, he does a real good job overall.  If I wasn't so lazy, I'd join him.  But it's easier to let him make it, and then drink what he makes.

i was the same way, good friend of mine is serious about home brewing.  He makes the 5 gallon kegs regularly.  The mr beer kit was really easy, watching him brew makes it easier to fathom me doing it, though you spend about 4 hours getting it all together.  Might not be a bad thing to do after the football season is over.
