I watched Mr. Brooks last night after the WS, I thought that it was very good. 4/5

I would love to have a mother/daughter menage with Costner's wife and daughter in that movie.

bug was excellent...william freidkin is a suspense master...its a very difficult watch but youre in it the whole way...ashley judd in far and a way her best role...and michael shannon was incredible...he wont get a nod for a movie like this...at least i dont think he will...but he deserves to at least get nominated for an oscar

black snake moan didnt need to be made...ive seen worse movies but not to many more meaningless than this one...played like a cheesy tv movie...except with cristina riccis beautiful breasts

Watched Land of the Dead last night/this morning. I went into it expecting little since I hadn't heard anything positive, but actually really enjoyed it. Romero is usually pretty ham-fisted with his metaphors but I thought they were at least as good here as they were in Dawn of the Dead. only this time he's dealing with homelessness and AIDS and war rather than mindless consumerism. Anyway, a lot of the dialog was awful, but as a zombie movie fan it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Watched the original Evil Dead. I thought that I had seen it before but obviously I was getting it confused with Evil Dead II. So obviously it was hilarious and sort of laugh-out-loud bloody, but parts of it were also very impressively shot. I mean, Sam Raimi was literally just a kid with some friends in the woods making a horror film. Anyway, I'm really glad I watched it because a lot of the goofy shots from Army of Darkness are direct reshoots from Evil Dead. Oh, and Bruce Campbell is god.

Well, it's not like there's a complicated linear plot line that the movies follow. But sure, I suck. I've now seen Evil Dead once, Evil Dead II twice and Army of Darkness one hundred and thirty seven times.
