not only was kearse playing middle linebacker but trent cole wasnt in the game for all or much of that final drive...and to my knowledge he wasnt hurt

like i was saying last night once you put kearse at mlb in pretty much what is the ultimate sack situation then youre admitting to the world that the guy is done and you may as well just cut him today

even worse might be the fact that jason avant is their 3rd wr

Not sure I agree with that. Avant is one of the very few I wouldn't have put down at this point. Dude was never supposed to be able to wow with his game breaking ability.

i think helen keller could out coach reid at this point.

between his personel blunders and his coaching screw ups this team now struggles to score 16 points.

how considine, the weakest link in the secondary, gets awarded the job to cover muhammed, Bears number 1 receiver, is a god damn joke

they also ran muhammed right at considine....it wasnt like he got assigned to him...the bears clearly were out to expose him and they did just that

Cmon, they were out to expose him? Yeah, because Moham was clearly exposing him the whole game.

The whole defensive scheme on the last drive was f-ed up. They were giving 20+ yards a shot because the defense doesnt know how to play zone contain. Its hardly all Considines fault, for Moham was just another receiver that found just another opening on 97 yards of trash zone defense

jim johnson is a joke and should be shot for that drive

Meh, I blame Takeo Spikes.  He's been an albatross to every team he's ever been on.

Just kidding.  Murder Reid, his whole family and coaching staff, and the entire front office.
Anyone but Reid.

Quote from: ice grillin you on October 22, 2007, 10:45:05 AMi defended that guy all last year with the drops because he was also consistently getting in the end zone..

iirc, you defended him on the the grounds that drops are not a credible stat; that he wasn't as bad as the numbers people reported and discussed.  No part of your defense at the time had anything to do with "he's getting in the end zone."

Perhaps I'm mistaken.

this whole coaching staff never changes anything. on offense reid still runs the same offense a he did from when b4 he had owens, when he had owens, and now after owens/stallworth are gone. on defense jj runs the same all out blitz but rarely get to the qb defense, or the 4 man front thats speedy as hell but cant cause any pressure, or the prevent defense when pressuring the qb matters most. STs has been stuck in a rut as well ever since b mitchelle left and reed showed promise but got hurt.

they arent a credible stat because they are way to subjective...to many things go into a drop...if a ball hits a guys hands and he gets destroyed by a safety youll have one philosophy that says if it hits your hands you should catch it and another that says great play by the db

same with an overthrown ball...when does it go from a drop to a badly thrown ball...its a fine line and i dont believe drops should be a tracked statistic

at the same time there is such a thing as a drop...and last year he dropped a couple balls on outs and 15 yards over the middle at the 40 yard line...i can excuse stuff like that when you score 8 touchdowns and are being a playmaker...but when you start dropping touchdown passes and have zero touchdowns and 17 catches in six games then drops become inexcusable

Brian Baldinger was on DNL today and was killing the Eagles for the condition of the field...something I've been saying for years.

I still can't get over that flock of birds that would move from endzone to endzone.  What was up with that?  They seemed to have no problem finding the endzone.

Seriously, I can't recall seeing that before.  Is that a common occurrence at the Linc?
