The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

QuoteAnd Reno from Utah writes, "I played football for the Philadelphia Eagles for five years and I've been out of the game for one and a half years now. A friend and former teammate of mine is in the exact same situation as I am. We're starting a new business and we're trying to make sure we take the right steps. We've been both hit hard in the financial area, but not by being the typical NFL player. We aren't the bling type. But we weren't smart in our investments. I'm looking at foreclosure now and filing for bankruptcy. I just started reading your book and I already feel like I can get through this. I know it will take hard work, but I love to work hard and provide for my wife and kids. I'll do anything that's honest to provide for them. Thanks for your book. It'll be my playbook for the next game I'm about to take over."

I hope that is not true...sucky player or not...that would be sad because he worked pretty hard (at football and outside of it).

QB Eagles

I wouldn't be worried. It's probably just some other Reno who played on the Eagles for five years and lives in Utah.

Sgt PSN

i hold no ill feelings towards the guy.  he was a decent player.....just not that athletically gifted by nfl standards.  whatever his business venture is, hopefully it works out well for him.

General_Failure

Kinda hard to get worked up over the 4th RB, but it wouldn't be Philly if people didn't.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Seabiscuit36

i agree, i really thought that they resigned him and wanted to kill something.  Hey, a hosting job at chickies and petes is always available.

The charge of theft, a second-degree felony, was filed in 3rd District Court under the 31-year-old's full name —Sateki Reno Mahe — last week, but the man was booked into jail briefly Thursday and released pending an upcoming court appearance.

The charges allege that Mahe and four others, including fellow former BYU football player Tevita Ofahengaue, 37, stole more than $15,000 in gasoline between August and October of 2010 from a construction company.

Mahe's friend, Mark Evers, 31, was working for A-Core Concrete Cutting at the time and was filling his own vehicle and those of his friends using a company gas code, according to the charges.

An audit showed that more than $55,000 was stolen between June 2006 and October 2010. The charges state that surveillance video from the August to October 2010 timeframe showed Mahe, Evers, Ofahengaue as well as Fred Prescott, 35, and Michael Andrus, 35, filling "their personal vehicles with gas after business hours using the code."

Don Ho

Reno, Reno, Reno.  So much for your good will mission to Samoa last month.

His penalty should be a front row seat to "The Book of Mormon".

that sounds more like a prize than a penalty...it's supposed to be very good
