Checked out Bourne Ultimatum  4/5 this weekend, it was freakin great. I'm a big fan of the first two so I had high expectations for the 3rd. There was more action and they bring the story together nicely. Bourne's back story sort of reminded me of Wolverine's.

I watched King of New York this weekend. Wesley Snipes, Laurence Fishburn and David Caruso were absolutely AWFUL. Walken was fine, but not nearly good enough to keep me from laughing uncomfortably about how corny every single scene was. It also has hands-down the least sexy titty-groping scene in the history of cinema. I'm alsmost tempted to say it was so bad that it was good, but the truth is that it was terrible. 1/5

There was nothing redeeming about the movie after the first 15 minutes. It was so bad that it was laughable. I lose all respect for everyone who likes this movie or even bothers mentioning it as though it deserves discussion.

I finally saw The Bourne Ultimatum today.  Holy farging shtein what a great movie!  I loved how they tied all three movies together in the final installment of the trilogy.

Nevermind the fact that it's one of the best action movies I've ever seen, the plot, direction, pacing, use of flashbacks, & supporting performances by Albert Finney & David Straithairn were remarkable.

A very enthusiastic 5/5 for this one.  Seriously one of the best movies I've ever seen.

PS: I loved the homage to the Marie character in the bathroom scene with Nicki and speaking of Julia Stiles, she was actually tolerable in this movie.  Kinda hot, actually, even though I'm more than a little ashamed to admit that.

The Simpsons Movie- I found a good version to download, so good for me. Anyway, it was funny. But The Simpsons works best when the plot is essentially a joke or making fun of something (Krusty Gets Kanceled, Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy, The Monorail, Treehouse of Horrors, etc.) and they can fill in most of the episode of pop culture related jokes and great side gags. The movie plot was almost more preachy than funny, but overall the side gags were funny and voice acting by Julie Kavner in her "goodbye" speech to Homer was brilliant. Despite the Homer/Marge breakup plot was overused after season 3, it still clicked.

everytime one of those type comedies comes out now theres a thread on every message board in the country saying how its the funniest movie ever...old school was better than american pie and anchorman was better than old school which wasnt as good as wedding crashers which got surpassed by 40 year old virgin which was lapped by knocked up...now superbad will be the GOAT for the next 15 minutes

the fact is most of these movies contain little to no real laughs and are for munson like pre pubscent flip flop wearing homos who have horrible taste regarding 95% of everything
