Myers already is sporting the closer look with the overgrown facial hair cropped in a funky fashion. Plus he says he likes to contribute close to on a daily basis instead of every five days so I'm guessing he may want to try and close. He would be a great closer with the stuff that he has considering he can just let it rip for an inning, but he also has the potential to go deep into games, so I'm not sure if he would be better in the starting rotation next year or trying to close out games.

It depends on what garbage the Phils bring in to the fold this off-season.

Makes sense but he should have put Rowand in the 3 hole with Burrell batting 5th. I just don't like messing with Burrell when he's on fire. Hope I'm wrong but I see Burrell with 3 K's today. Too much pressure.

if they sign four quality starters this offseason then id be fine with him at closer next year...this year it was absolutely the wrong move
