He was very good in As Good as It Gets, Anger Management, Somethings Gotta Give, and amazing in The Departed

Cheadle has been very active in the past 10 with Boogie Nights, Out of Sight, Misson to Mars, The Family Man, Traffic, ER, Crash, Oceans 11/12, Hotel Rwanda(amazing).

I'm on board, with you on how great and active Cheadle's been but Jack's performance in the Departed was almost a masterpiece of work by him again.

im not sure he even acted...he was basically being himself...which is cool i mean its jack....but i wouldnt consider what he did in that movie to be a great acting job...i felt like i was watching him give an interview or at the oscars...at no time during that movie did i feel as tho i was watching frank costello...it was jack nicholson

btw in the last ten years is there a better actor than don cheadle...i think not

He's right up there in that time frame.  He was ridiculously underrated for "Hotel Rwanda" and he's consistently excellent across the board.

I don't know if he's the best of the last decade, but no one better is immediately coming to mind.

Cheadle in Hotel Rwanda was money.

Best actor of the last decade is Dicaprio.

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

im trying to think if ive ever seen a ben stiller movie besides meet the parents

i think departed was the first good thing dicaprio ever did...minus the awful accent he was good in blood diamond...he seems to have turned a corner lately but prior to these movies hes been pretty bad imo
