Darko might actually be a productive player for the Sixers.  He was brutalized in Detroit by Larry Brown and again in Orlando by a coach in Brian Hill who should be coaching in rec. leagues, not the NBA.

The guy definitely has talent.  Whether a guy like Mo Cheeks could coax that talent out of him is another story.

Regardless, he's looking for $10M per year and he's definitely not worth that kind of dough.  Not yet anyway.

Good thing Brown isn't on the Sixers, huh...

PhillyPhreak54

I'd take him here. What the hell...give him a shot. He's 7' and has some potential.

Do any of y'all remember that cat they drafted a few years back...some white dude who was hyped because there was footage of him dunking over a car. What was his name?

Ha.  True dat.

Another reason why the Sixers are what they are.

The fact that he was given a job after the bullshtein he pulled speaks volumes about that franchise.

Jiri Welsch was the guy they drafted but I don't remember him being a dunker.  Are you thinking of Marko Jaric?

PhillyPhreak54

Jaric might be the one. Seeing Darko's name reminded me of him for some reason.

I wouldn't mind Darko for the mle which is all we could offer him anyway. FYI -- He has the same agent as Dalembert

for anybody who wants to watch the Sixer summerleage game online
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I've been watching since like 4 minutes left in the 1st. Jason Smith can run for a white guy.

it's really hard to tell who is who though

Yeah, I can't tell who any of the black guys are other than Lou Will, and the occasional chance you see a guy shoot left handed, when it would have to be Thad Young.  Amundson and Smith are pretty easy to see.  :-D

i watched for about 20 minutes and couldn't even tell what team was witch until i heard rodney carney's name.

Looks like the Sixers are changing the white and black jerseys to resemble the red alternate one

(The EA games usually have all the changes before they're announced)

76ers lost to Detroit 91-89. Lou Will with 32 points on 6-15 shooting, 17-17 FT, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, 6 turnovers. He can score, but he really isn't a PG.

Carney with another bad day. 3-13 FG, 12 points, no rebounds or steals in 30 minutes.

Thaddeus had a pretty good day, so did Jason Smith and Herb Hill.
