its bad enough that the wire which arguably had the single best season of televsion ever didnt make a final three or something but a top farging 10 and its still not on there and faggedy ass greys anatomy is...christ even two inferior shows from the wires own network made it

a mixture of a lot of things. top reason is the show is incredibly anti-hollywood and none of the insiders pay attention it. the academy sets up screeings of episodes submitted (wire chose 'final grades'), and since no one there is really familiar with the show, they were bored and lost an 75 minute episode about poor black people. ugly betty only flies because its about gays more than mexicans. white people are #1.
