I just started watching Hells Kitchen but so far so good. The Chinese guy didn't want to be there, the injury was his pathetic ploy to get off the show.

While watching the show:
me: the girls are winning cause they're more organized than the guys
her: no offense but girls in general are more organized than boys
me: they're also in the kitchen where they belong so its no wonder they're organized...no offense.

the best part was when the two obviously racist white bitches voted for the black girl who works at the waffle house to be voted off instead of the white girl who TOOK FOOD OUT OF THE GARBAGE.  i seriously can't believe ramsay kept her on after that, even if he didn't see it first hand.

that one chick has the worst long island accent, it makes me sick to hear her voice.

and yeah, how was julia even nominated after what she did for breakfast

They claimed they only wanted her off because her knowledge was lacking, but every night they showed her up late studying to catch up. Anyone know what restaurant they're in? I'm taking it the show takes place in SD since they took a helicopter ride around the city. Those girls were acting like their shtein didn't stink when they were getting ready, I was praying for the helicopter to crash into my old ship.

Ha.  Pat Croce is a judge on "American Inventor".  This show sucks.

Father Demon

Watched the premier of "Meadowlands" on Shotime last night. About a family that is in witness protection, and put in a neighborhood of freaks that are all in the WPP.

So far, totally uninterested in it, but I'll probably watch one more episode to see if it gets better.

Also, 3rd season of Weeds starts in August (with one of the Ashley twin skanks joining the cast) and Dexter comes back for a second season in October.  2 great shows.  I like Showtime a lot better than HBO.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

MDS

After Curb and The Wire end their runs, all HBO has is Entourage. They need something to break-out, even though both John From Cincinnati and Flight of the Concords are pretty good, yet won't be hits.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Seabiscuit36

Big Love has been good so far but doesnt have that same pull as Entourage/The Wire.

On another note, i got sucked into watching Deadliest Catch and After the Catch this year.  Such a great farging show.  Thats Reality TV that i like.

Susquehanna Birder

The 3rd episode of John from Cincinnati was pretty interesting. Definitely similar in style to Deadwood.

Maybe I'll start watching that instead of that mind-numbing "Meadowlands"

some times John from Cincinnati frustrates me, but I feel they are setting up something cool, so we'll see.

Is that the one where the kid broke his neck?  if so, I agree.  Interesting show.  Not great but definitely weird.

Susquehanna Birder

Yep, that's it. It's kind of funny to see so many Deadwood actors in different roles. I was waiting for the doctor to pull out a straight razor.

Rome

Rebecca DeMornay has not aged well.

Al all.

SunMo

i think that's part of the look they are going for with her on that show
