Not officially. Henderson hired as part of the staff w/o a designation of his role.

Most likey Howard Johnson takes over as hitting coach and the SB king will take over as 1st base coach.

The Mets get back to back HR's from the 1st 2 batters for the 1st time in team history the day after Henderson (one of, if not the best leadoff hitter ever) is brought on the staff.

Beltran, per ESPNews, had an MRI on his strained abdominal. It showed fluid in there which means its an abdominal tear.
