I wasted a bunch of money on a movie that Steve Correll and Morgan Freeman are waiting for the dvd release before watching just so they can split the rental fee.

$49 for a movie isn't bad especially when you consider tickets are up to 10 bucks now.  Add in parking, snacks, drinks & dinner out before or after and $49 is a farging steal.

You pay for parking when you go to the movies? $49 is ridiculous but I guess its a good option if you're a paraplegic.

The movie theater(s) we go to are in an oceanfront complex that has a six-story parking garage across the street.  It's the only place to park unless you feel like walking 1/2 back and forth to the car.  Parking's like five bucks or so for three hours.  Not bad.  I think they'll validate it but I never feel like waiting in line for the morons to stamp the pass.

It's actually a pretty cool theater/entertainment complex.  They have 20 stadium theaters with all the top of the line Dolby setup.  Surrounding the movies they have restaurants (Bubba Gumps, etc.) bars, an ice cream parlor, etc.

Heat - 3/5 - all star cast which is why I believe this movie is so unbelievably overrated. Was unnecessarily long and very boring at times. The shoot out after the bank heist was good.
