Anyone seen a good movie lately?

I heard that Peter Jackson is going to make the Hobbit as a movie. That was years ago though, so not sure if that was just a rumor or what.

Titanic was just too damn long. They kept going back into the ship while it was sinking and that really lost me. Great special effects movie. Weak script really. 

I liked Citizen Kane even for an older movie it's pretty good.

This is a little premature, but I'm about halfway through Superman Returns...and I think it's pretty terrible.  Just too campy and over-the-top even by Superman standards, and the acting seems purposefully stilted.  I also don't like the ambiguous era thing it has going on.  I'd heard good things, but I'm pretty underwhelmed thus far.

It was pretty damn kick-ass in IMAX 3D, but I have no desire to see it on the small screen.
