Pirates 3 - 3/5 - if you liked the first two you'll like this one. Not bad but nothing to write home about.

That's about what I thought of it.  It's a fun movie, but not particularly well-written or well-acted.

It will make a boatload of coin, though.

Supposedly a "disappointing" $112.5 million over the weekend.

Cast Away was on last night.

And I saw How High in its entirety for the first time yesterday too. Chuck Liddell was in the fight scene towards the end.

Watched the Aviator last night. 4 of 5. Really good. Leanardo was outstanding.

Just got back from Shrek the Third with the boys.  Enjoyable, but not great. A lot of good old fashioned toilet humor and fart jokes, so that was cool.

6 of 10.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

same with me, the whole family went to see Shrek tonight...nothing special, the Led Zeppelin part was cool

Pirates made $152 million all told this weekend. The official "weekend" gross is $112.5 million. So they didn't break any records, but they got new Lexus' for all Disney executives, and another wing for Jerry Bruckheimers house. Hooray.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Yeah right.  Tell the truth... you were rubbing your crotch during that scene.

I saw American Splendor for my International Cinema class. It was interestingly done, but overall, pointless. Paul Giamatti was terrific was usual.

Got 16 movies waiting on my coffee table/bookcase, and so far I've gotten through three.

Hot Fuzz - 4/5 I was not expecting the second half of the movie at all, and it blew me away.

Blade - 4/5 Still the best Marvel comic book movie to date. Special Effects don't quite hold up as well as I thought they would.

Blade 2 - 3/5 If Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson weren't in it, it would be complete garbage. The names were taken right out of The Matrix reject pile.

The man. The myth. The legend.

SunMo

how do you have Hot Fuzz already?
