You focus your hatred on Howard, who aside from a pinch hit vs. SF hasn't played in 3 games. He's not killing our payroll, we didn't have to give up any value for him, so the hatred is unjustified. He's gonna turn it around, not to the tune of 58 HRs, but I still think he'll get on a hot streak and hit 40.

As far as our offense goes, they haven't been great, but they're still 5th in the NL which isn't that bad.

So they were 2nd in the NL last season and 5th this season but they're fraudulent? The O has played poorly lately but that's not the root of the problem here.

The way the bullpen is pitching the Phillies have to score at least 5-6 runs per game to have a chance most nights.

The offense is capable of that but asking a lineup to produce that much night in and night out is ridiculous.  That's why the Phillies have struggled to win games.  They're getting killed by that shteinbag bunch of losers and the fault rests with Gillick and the front office for not addressing it during the offseason.  They could have taken Garcia's 10 million dollar salary and shored up the bullpen but they chose not to.

And now they're putrid.
