someone just picked up ryan franklin in our fantasy league....he would be the phillies best reliever this year

Everyday when I look at the boxscores in the paper and see that dude and his 1.20 ERA I cry a little bit.

Why is it when players are here, they suck. As soon as they roll out, they are good.

Franklin was an atrocity last year. I guess pitching in baseball heaven (good foresight on naming STL heaven, Rolen) makes it all better.

I wasn't asking the question because I didn't feel that Myers should be out there.  I was wondering if Cholly would actually trust Madsen or some other pitcher of his ilk to hold a 6 run lead.

Since April 28th (when he was hitting .304) Patricia is a robust 2-31 to drop him down to .237.
