That's one of the beers I order as much as possible.  I would say it's in my Top 10, if not Top 5.

I saw they had a new BLVD on tap at the stadium.  I think it was called BLVD Lunar or some crazy crap like that.  You ever had it or heard of it?

I hate Coors light, had it saturday in AC.  I asked for Miller Lite on tap, dude gave me Coors.  I drank one gulp and knew it was either very skunky ML or Coors.  I downed it, noticed yesterday on my tab i had coors on there.  That stuff is disgusting on tap.

I'm not sure I would call Coor's Light disgusting, I would just call it a non-beer.

First, there is barely a hint of a beer related flavor, it drinks like water. Second, it takes a shtein load of it to catch a buzz, but by then you are far too sobered up by walking back and forth to the bathroom.

The ultra lights, like Michelob Ultra, even have more flavor than that piss.

I have a buddy that used to work at a bar and thus won't order anything on tap, because he said the tubes/hoses/whatever used for the beer are literally never cleaned.  He likes his beer and isn't a snob at all, either... he said that you'd literally vomit if you saw the buildup in there.

Did it change your drinking habits, or do you still tap it?

Thats True FF.  Beer Snobs will often blame dirty lines for some of the crap flavor you get, but they are 100% right.

I rarely drink draft beer because of the reasons above.  Refrigeration is another concern.  A lot of places turn up the thermostats on the coolers and allow the beer to get dangerously warm and that's if they bother to refrigerate it at all.

Awful.

weird i just had this exact conversation with someone over the weekend.  he's been testing the theory that bottled beer gives you much less of a hangover because he's heard so many stories of the nasty keg linings and tubes or whatnot.  said he felt much better after 10 bottles than he did after 10 draft pints the next night.  obviously there's more beer in pints than bottles also, but when i think back i definitely feel shteintier in the morning after drinking drafts.

I usually tap because you get 16 or 22 instead of 12.  Less ordering.  More beer.

Beer on tap isn't always cheaper.  Not at all.

phattymatty

if it's the same beer in a bottle or on tap, draft is almost always cheaper.
