Eric Wright gone.

What to do with the defense?

Who needs Defense? McNabb can do it all by himself.

He's going to be tired from playing defense all year. Good thing they drafted a QB.

The man. The myth. The legend.

SunMo

they should probably draft the eventual replacement for Shawn Andrews next

Kolb's throwing motion looks like David Carr's. His arm drops close to be at the same level as his shoulder. Wonder if that will be a problem at all that the Eagles are going to have to work on with him.

I actually like Kolb. Never dreamed he'd be an Eagles. Esp. with the 1st pick.

Section 203

Geowhizzer

The only thing I can rationally think of is that McNabb isn't progressing like the Eagles were hoping he would, or they are planning on jettisoning him before another year or two is over.

Otherwise, it is a mistake of historical proportions.

Even if it is, it was a reach - a terrible pick.

Did you all realize that Indy gave up their 2008 #1 to move up in the 2nd round?!?!

SF got a 4 this year and a #1 in 2008 for the 42nd overall pick this year.

Everyone is getting 2008 #1s except the Eagles.

SunMo

his recovery this year has no bearing on Kolb.  if Donovan can't play right away this year, they have Feeley and Holcomb.

this is strictly a move for the future...and one that didn't need to be made this year

Roses are red violets are blue I hope Kolb gets AIDS and SARS too.

Dillen

I'd be willing to bet that Kolb is the lQB answer if McNabb is out for an extended period of time, but Feeley plays in a pinch.

That's because the Eagles know that the NFL is getting rid of the 1st round next year. Haha. Suckers.

The BIGSTUD

Tim Crowder or Charles Johnson!
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I'm going out on a limb. This pick will not be as bad as Kolb at 36.
