wanted to add something else that last nights episode made me think about...the obvious newspaper metaphor has led me to my conclusion of how the series will end

they want you to believe that hes gonna get wacked or pinched getting he paper in the last episode

but i think it is going to be neither...i tend to believe that the series will end with him getting the paper and one of two things happening

1. he will have gotten out of the game and the scene will be that of him getting his first stress free paper of his life...he will get the paper with a look of relief/happiness on his face and the series will end

2. he will get the paper with essentially nothing having been resolved...and it will be a sign that that is just who he is...its in his blood...that hes pretty much on earth to be a mafia boss
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Supposedly the finale has Tony in Vegas, playing cards. They're ramping up a gambling problem for him. Could be a fatal problem.

Good points from both.

Its so unpredictable that is what keeps me watching despite the last few seasons of averageness.

I think that Phil Leotardo is the one who has something to do with how it ends. He wants to get Tony for his cuzzo getting wacked.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

They probably shot this in the fall. It's still decent weather in Jersey.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i dont know where this is from...i suspect a message board or fan site of some kind?...either way the secrecy behind this season is such that i cant imagine the ending has been leaked...but if it has and the above is true it would be the dumbest make no sense ending they could come up with

I see ducks in the finale.  Lots of ducks.

Susquehanna Birder

I'll have to check into it...but it is obvious that they are playing up Tony's gambling.

MDS

They should be playing up Tony's weight. James Gandolfini is farging fat.

Yeah, but Tony would have kicked Bobby's ass if he didn't slip on the rug.

SunMo

i heard that Chase filmed a bunch of different endings and even the actors don't know how it's going to end...

i'm voting for the Rocky V ending...Tony vs Phil, streetfight

Heard that they read one finale and everyone kinda felt it made sense. So...who the hell knows.

I stand by what I read.

Me right, you wrong. I win.

Sus, I heard that too about the Vegas thing. I read it on another board that some writer in Las Vegas wrote about them filming out there.

All I know is this shtein better heat up. Unlike most, I dig the character development. I love books that do that stuff and I love TV shows that do it too. But when you have only a few episodes left, time to elaborate on the other developing you have done earlier on in the series - start knocking people off.

Chase is good at subtlety. Like Uncle Junior holding the cat = he's a Hoyda now. Or after Tony was rolling his eyes during the scene where Paulie is running his mouth again and then the next scene is the dog with a muzzle.
