I enjoyed this episode.

MDS' theory could be true. Although he did wear latex gloves, the ripped shirt and the bullet in the dryer could end up hurting him. It went through and through and is likely is good condition. Although that might not matter much since Bobby dropped the gun. But can the ammo be traced to a certain batch? Maybe. And maybe it is some that Tony also used (hollow points).

Tony won't ever forget it though. The first step to him getting revenge was to make him kill the dude.

Also - this episode reminded me how much I farging hate Janice. She needs to get hit by a bus.

I think this episode set the stage

every episode for the last two seasons has 'set the stage'....the problem is nothing ever actually happens...nothing matters until the last episode....they shouldnt even have a season this year...just have a two hour finale show and thats it

i was pumped up watching last night either way

I loved the ending after Bobby does the hit, they have the music playing from his pop's era, he comes home see's his family.  Much like his dad did years before that.

I'm pretty ambivalent about it at this point.

I think part of the problem is the show holds itself in a little too high of a regard.  The show takes advantage of the format that HBO can offer over traditional outlets, and likes feature slow scenes built on subtlety and nuance and then pit them against cold, hard violence.  And while I think that works to a large degree, they take such long breaks that it leaves the viewing public wanting instant gratification which they never get.

Then factor in the purposeful trend of not wrapping up plotlines in a traditional way, and it drives some people nuts.  I'm not really one of those people.  But the breaks have been so long, that I find it hard to really care with any consistency.  That said, I'll still watch.

From the looks of the hole in the dryer, I doubt that was a hollow point.

Good episode tonight. I liked it quite a bit. Much better than last week.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Looks like we may get the war we've been looking for.   >:D

yes excellent ending and overall 1000 times better than last weeks episode

its pretty clear that the show is being set up to have viewers make a guess of the end game....does tony get killed or does he get out?

my guess is that phil is gonna kill christopher and that is gonna cause tony to get out or at least be leaning that way as the show ends

Just watched it. Not bad, I liked last weeks, but this was still good.

Meadow looked farging hot.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don Ho

Sorry for the dumb question but we cancelled HBO several years ago and I have not been able to keep up with the show.  A&E ain't cutting it.  How many seasons has The Sopranos been on?  Worth investing in DVD collection?  My old man loves this show and he calls me the next morning after every new episode scolding me for not watching and getting HBO.

6 seasons
DVD? Yes. Don't pay attention to what igy says. It's a landmark American television series and even at its worst its still leaps and bounds better than 95% of the stuff on broadcast tv. The acting, writing and directing is top notch. You've been missing out. Ignore all talk about the finale, which airs in june, and start with season 1.

Also you should let your kid watch. He's like 5 or something, but it's about time he saw fake strip club boobs, heard loads of curse words and see gorges of blood and violence.

Worth investing in DVD collection?

absolutely not...the last few years are not worth purchasing the dvd's...unless youre some sopranos groupie and feel the need to own the whole collection but since you didnt feel as tho paying for hbo was even worth it then i would say DO NOT buy the last few seasons...rent them or netflix them
