Say goodbye to Jones via Draft day.

Are you suggesting that the Eagles include him in some package deal that nets them an improved or additional draft pick?  Or just saying that he'll be released?

Because if the Eagles are able to get any compensation for him at all then that would be positively glorious.  Even if it's just a bag of crushed iceholes and bellybuttons.

Spikes was on WIP a few minutes ago and said he's really excited to be here, he's talked to Reid and JJ and thinks he fits into the schemes perfectly.  He thinks he's best suited for WLB, but he'll play anywhere.  They mentioned that Martin Biron's family was deciding whether or not to leave Buffalo, so they asked Spikes how quickly he would have decided to bolt from there. His response: "speed of light". He said there's nothing to do there except play video games.

Great value pick-up. Walker became expendable, especially if the Eagles are banking on Bunkley emerging this year.

Getting Holcomb is also a pleasant surprise. He will be a good #3 QB. I can't imagine him coming in here and taking the #2 job from Feeley. Feeley has been in this system too long and Holcomb coming in for 4 months to master this system probably is not going to happen.

At least if Donovan's knee explodes the Eagles have some viable reserve options.

think about all the football teams. then think about the locations. pretty much all teams are located in a large to major city. buffalo and maybe greenbay are in bumfarg. both teams and cities are dead. i'd want to get the hell out also.

Toronto is about a 30 minute drive from buffalo. These numbskulls probably never looked at a map.

Ha. Every professional football player (except those with an apostrophe in their first names) know that you can't take concealed weapons, drugs, or unwilling mates across borders......duh.

IGY's right about the distance and time and that's assuming a quick passage over the border too.

maybe it is closer to two hours than 30 minutes, but i have driven there numerous times, and the QEW, while is 85 miles...takes about an hour on the highways alone to get from Buffalo to Toronto. Toronto is actually a fun city to spend time in.

It's no different than Philly to AC, where mapquest says 1 hour 20 minutes, it can easily be done in 45 minutes.

It doesnt change the fact that numbskulls say stupid things all the time.
