Harding was beyond corrupt, but he didn't spend a trillion dollars and cost over 60,000 iraqi lives, over 3,200 american lives on a purposeless and meaningless war. he also didnt not even try to catch the man reasponsible for the most catostrophic day in american history, and also didnt lit a major american city sit in ruins for two days before bothering to do something about it.

worst. president. ever.

adjusted those numbers for accuracy sake...they can be disputed but these numbers are a lot closer to the fact than yours

well, techincally, the iraqi lives dont matter because they are evil terrorists. american forever holla.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

James Polk at #10?  Mexican-American War leadership, annexation of Texas, acquisition of Mexican territories (California, etc.), settled conflict with British over Oregon Territory.

I'm shocked.  I'm a direct descendent (or maybe just a slightly indirect) of his (or so I've been told), and I never heard he was any good.  As you can tell, I've never traced the lineage, nor did much research on him.  I just remember my dad telling me we were desendents, and thought "Hmm. That's cool."
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

I've been waiting to post this.  My grandfather's wife didn't know how to get a digital picture into an email, so it took a little while.

My grandfather celebrated his 92nd birthday on St. Patrick's Day.  This is how he celebrated.  He didn't drive it (thank God), but he went for a spin with the owner for a few laps around the neighborhood.

I love that old man.  He's the bomb-diggity when it comes to 92 year old cool.

James K. Polk
By: They Might Be Giants

In 1844, the Democrats were split
The three nominees for the presidential candidate
Were Martin Van Buren, a former president and an abolitionist
James Buchanan, a moderate
Lewis Cass, a general and expansionist
From Nashville came a dark horse riding up
He was James K. Polk, Napoleon of the Stump

Austere, severe, he held few people dear
His oratory filled his foes with fear
The factions soon agreed
He's just the man we need
To bring about victory
Fulfill our manifest destiny
And annex the land the Mexicans command
And when the poll was cast, the winner was
Mister James K. Polk, Napoleon of the Stump

In four short years he met his every goal
He seized the whole southwest from Mexico
Made sure the tariffs fell
And made the English sell the Oregon territory
He built an independent treasury
Having done all this he sought no second term
But precious few have mourned the passing of
Mister James K. Polk, our eleventh president
Young Hickory, Napoleon of the Stump

Polk often gets overlooked because he only served one term.  But what a heck of a term it was!

He was known as being stubborn and cold to people.  He said he would only serve one term, and he kept to it, though many wanted him to run again.  That may have been him knowing he wouldn't make a second term - he died less than 4 months after leaving office.

What is the purpose of Instant Foam soap?

Have we become that lazy, and that expectant of instant gratification, that we cannot foam our own soap?

In a nutshell, The Don thinks Bush in the worst ever.  When you're a president who only cares about rich people and one of the richest men in the world thinks you suck, then you may want to reevaluate yourself.

you mean the foam hand soap in bathrooms?

Dial or Dawn sells it now and advertises it as "Instant Foam" soap.  I was wondering what the hell the point of that was.

I dunno.  I thought the foam hand soap in bathrooms was to save money/waste less?
