Soon to replace with a Dayne signing story?

No, was replaced with a "Dayne likes what he sees" fluff piece.

If the Eagles traded for Jonathan Vilma and signed Corey Dillon, would you be happy with FA and ready for the draft?

I say yes.

I'd be willing to give up the Dixie Chicks 4eva if that happened.

Not sure if it was brought up yet, but Briggs' agent is Ro$enhau$...

FWIW, Vilma is one of the few ex-Hurricanes that doesn't use Drew.  His is Mitch Frankel...

And unusually, Rosenhaus has been very quiet while Briggs mixes it up with the Bears publicly--I wonder how long before he's out on his lawn doing PCs?

Depends on what we give up for Vilma. I'd have to think long and hard about giving up a first. A second rounder I'd do in a heartbeat, but we'd need to add another player and a future pick as well.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

Assume they traded a 1st for Vilma and sign Dillon.

Pfft.  I'd trade our first for Vilma in a heartbeat.  Have you seen how we make out with our first rounders?

The man. The myth. The legend.

Anyone who wouldnt trade this years 1st for Vilma is nuts. And Im not talking like "Oh, look at that guy over there - he's nuts" type of nuts. We're talking legit insanity.

He's better than Simmons, Poz, Willis or any other LB we could get at 26, and like someone said - he's only 26.

That said, how did Vilmas name come up? Is there any substance, or did you jerk just throw his name out there for shteins and giggles?

Seabiscuit36

Rumors came out that he was on the block b/c the jets are going to a 3/4 defense and Vilma is a 4/3 mlb only.  Who knows, its a pipe dream but WE PRAY  :evil
