and only 6 mid-major at-larges is awful.  takes some of the fun out of the whole thing.  no way illinois and stanford should have made it.

if i hear one person whine about drexel im gonna puke

drexel didnt go 29-2 and have a fluke loss in the finals of their conference tourney (they didnt even make the finals of their tourney)

they arent a major program who was over .500 in conference

they finished FOURTH in the awful CAA...not first or second or even third but farging fourth...they belonged nowhere near the tournament imo

blias made a good point last night too in listing some of their losses...really bad ones specifically to rider for god sakes

they also lost to penn by 20 - odu by 30! - william and mary (yikes) by 15

they beat what....two tournament teams?

they had one real quality win this year villanova

at creighton was a nice win but they are another mid major not exactly a powerhouse

those two wins more than get cancelled out by a 4th place finish in the CAA...thats the stat that jumps out at me...people actually are campaigning to put the fourth place CAA team in the ncaa tourney

florida state should def be in over ark or stanford

drexel also won at syracuse and at st. joes.   i don't think it's as big of a snub as i originally thought, but they should not have been left out for stanford, arkansas, or even illinois.
