as a mlb poz might have a future in the nfl

Agreed.  His best-case scenario is Zach Thomas - basically makes a ton of tackles and is always in the right place, but gets occasionally exposed in pass coverage.

That is a pretty good "best case" scenario.

Cleveland won the coin flip with Tampa Bay and will pick 3rd.  They finally won something...

He's listed at 240, and Munson's whining about him being undersized?

Proof-positive:  Munson's an idiot.

I'd even go as far as to say that I wouldn't want the Eagles to draft anyone coming out at MLB any HEAVIER than 250 lbs or so - they usually end up being the Levon Kirkland / Chris Claiborne types and not the Vilma/Pierce/Urlacher/Zach Thomas/Al Wilson type of difference-maker.

EArlier in the thead I'm pretty sure he waas being listed at 230. If he's at 240, that's pretty good. I'm just saying that no matter who our MLB is, he's going to continue to get smacked around by OLinement until this team gets a little bigger at DT. Someone who can eat up a 2nd guy.

Looking to the 3rd/4th round, I'd like the Eagles to get the UD TE Ben Patrick. They love thier 2 TE sets, and Shoeboat was adissapointment until the end of the year. And god knows the Eagles probably won't pay LJ the cash he'll ask for next year.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Well being from Delaware and having the chance to see Patrick this year, he would be a great 3rd round pick.  I've seen him listed on every site no later than the 5 overall TE and with his athletic abilty he could step in early.

Exactly. He seems like he'd be the perfect fit for this offense. I believe he came into the combine at 6'3, 252. Athletic, fast, pretty big, and hopefully a better blocker then Schobel or LJ (though LJ seemed to really improve his blocking as the year went on...anyone else notice that?)
