Rex Grossman was terrible.  Just terrible.

Manning wasn't at his best, but he was good enough.  Chicago just couldn't hold him down long enough, and the defense was worn down.

Congrats to Peyton and the Colts.

Maybe someday it will be the Eagles.  Probably the year after I die.

QB Eagles

By the way, now that Indianapolis and Peyton Manning have won the Super Bowl, the Eagles and Donovan McNabb are officially the biggest big game chokers in the NFL, no contest.

Even though I rather the Bears had won... I am incredibly happy for this man.  He deserves all accolades and praise he's about to get.

Reid and McNabb are now officially the biggest chokers in the NFL.  It was hard for me to even watch or care much about this Super Bowl.  I will say that Manning was not the MVP, that is not to say he played a bad game he just wasn't the MVP.

My favorite commercial was the rock, paper, scissors bud commercial.

The only positive that I got from this game is that truly just about any team that makes the playoffs is capable of winning the whole thing.  If the Eagles can get a defense they certainly have a legit shot next year.

No doubt. That fat white cameraman has been taking quality pictures for many years now. About time he gets some recognition.

Agreed, Feva.  Dungy is a class act all the way, and I am happy to see him finally reach the summit he's been so close to for so long.

Of course, I'd be much happier to see Andy's fat rear on top of some shoulders...

I think you are the closest so you win.  Sometime in the next few days Chuggie will bring you your "prize."  Congrats on that.

No, he still isn't even in Tom Brady's class.  To be considered for best all-time you need to win more than one.  He is at a Brett Favre level now.

I agree, but other than 2 weeks ago Manning has never taken his team in crunch time in the playoffs and went on to victory.  Elway, Montana, Brady... have done it many times.

The only thing that Brady has done that Manning hasn't is lead a game winning drive in the Super Bowl during the final posession.

Manning didn't have a great game statistically speaking but he was solid all game sans their opening drive.  He could never take another snap in the NFL and his legacy is secured as one of the all time greats.
