i don't see how anyone thought the colts would cover yesterday.  two co-workers of mine put down a lot of money on the bears, and i laughed at them.

But the overall feeling of the game was bland. Usually I can get into a good game but last night seemed like a late season regular season game where Chicago had nothing to play for and Indy was just motoring along.

The STL/NE SB where Vinatieri kicked the winning FG was a fun game to watch despite the Eagles not being in it.

I got hammered with my friends and ate a lot of food in the comfort of my leather recliner.

All in all, I didnt give a shtein about the outcome of the game anyway.  I was happy that Grossman played like warmed over shtein but other than that, it was a gigantic "meh" to me.  Hell, even the commercials were sorta lame (other than the Oprah & Dave thing - I actually laughed at that).

That superbowl was awful, sad when the highlight is Prince.

i was very weird hearing Prince sing the Foo Fighters.

and yeah that game sucked.  although i thought it was kind of fun to watch in a train wreck kind of way.

Rivera needs to go.  Plain and simple.

Please Jerry Jones, back up your money truck and take this unadjusting, stubborn, bonehead off our hands.  I would love nothing more than to see you pay this man a boat load of money and watch him tank your team in the playoffs with his unimaginative blitz packages and lack of game time adjustments.

This defense is simply to athletic to waste playing soft coverage, bend but don't break defense.  By all means play the Cover 2 when you've got the lead and you're Dline isn't getting there lunch handed to them at the LOS and can pin their ears back and get after the passer.  But when you're playing catchup all game or it's apparent your front 4 is getting absolutely no push up front something needs to be done.  ANYTHING would be better than NOTHING.

I agree Rivera must go. I mean this is two years in a row he has game planned us disaster in the playoffs. He seems incapable of making adjustments during games, and stubbornly sticks with what is failing. I think it's because he's far too busy thinking about future jobs and what he'll do there. I cannot take this again next year, because if he is still around, we'll have this problem at badly inopportune times.
