Ed is all about the facts. Shut it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

With 8 seconds left, why didn't the Chargers try to get a few more yards on a pass to the sidelines before kicking the FG?

I can't believe they did nothing and just kicked it. Then again I can, go Marty.

Rome

I don't know who was calling the plays on the second-to-last drive for the Bolts but he should definitely be fired.

1st play:  Tomlinson run for six. 2nd & 4.

2nd play: Incomplete pass

3rd play: Incomplete pass

4th play: Punt.

Tomlinson is the best player in the NFL, yet rather than giving him a chance to get rolling and knock some time off the clock, they rely on Philip Rivers' arm in that situation.

Puzzling isn't the word for it.  STUPID is.  If I was a Chargers fan, I'd be screaming for Marty's ass right now.  Another colossal playoff meltdown for that poor bastich.

because 8 seconds is way too risky. If the receiver catches it inbounds and for some odd reason cant get out of bounds, see ya bye game over

It was the right call.

The BIGSTUD

Why can't we have Tom Brady?
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Rome

I'd rather have his head coach, thanks.

A 7 yard pass to the sideline... how do you not get out of bounds.

7 yards would of made a world of difference... I thought that was a terrible call.  ???

I'm sure ESPN will mention it too, but since it was asked elsewhere, I thought someone here would care about trivial crap like that....  :)

In fact, here's more "who the F cares?!" trivia, this time from ESPN:

This is the Bears' fourth NFC Championship appearance in the Super Bowl era, and in the previous three, the winner of that game also won the Super Bowl.

1984-85 at San Francisco (49ers won)
1985-86 vs LA Rams (Bears won)
1988-89 vs San Francisco (49ers won)

Let's trade head coaches with the Chargers for a few years.

So, will Manning choke against the Pats or wait until the Super Bowl?

QB Eagles

I'm hoping he waits until the Super Bowl. As much as I hate the Colts, the thought of Brady winning another Super Bowl fills me with great disgust. farg the fans in that baseball city, they already got 3 rings in 4 years.

He is just cursed.  There is no way around it.

Every time I hear someone say that a team is cursed, my ass begins to twitch. It's farging idiotic.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Quasimoto

The Chargers aren't cursed.  Marty is.  I'm sorry.  Maybe you're the one who put the hex on him.  What did he ever do?

BigEd76

LT is pissed

Quote[Brady] left behind some frustrated Chargers, including Tomlinson, who went after an unidentified Patriots player when the game ended. Tomlinson ran for 123 yards and two scores, and caught two passes for 64 yards.

Tomlinson said he was upset that some Patriots were dancing on the Chargers logo at midfield after they had silenced the record crowd of 68,810 at Qualcomm Stadium and wrecked the Chargers' season, which included an NFL-best 14-2 record and 8-0 home mark in the regular season.

"I would never react in that way. I was very upset," Tomlinson said. "When you go to the middle of our field and start doing the dance Shawne Merriman is known for, that is disrespectful. They showed no class and maybe that comes from the head coach."
