QuoteEagles Clinch NFC East Title

December 31, 2006
By BOB KENT

By virtus of Dallas' 39-31 loss to the Lions, the Eagles clinched their fifth NFC East title under head coach Andy Reid. Philadelphia locked up the No. 3 seed in the NFC and will host the New York Giants at Lincoln Financial Field next Sunday at 4:30 PM.
The Eagles and Giants split their season series, with New York pulling off an improbable come-from-behind 30-24 win in week 2 and the Eagles posting a 36-22 win on Dec. 17 at the Meadowlands.

Playoff game tickets for Sunday, including standing-room-only, will go on sale Wednesday at 10 AM and will be available online at PhiladelphiaEagles.com, Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster.

NOTE: No tickets will be sold at the Lincoln Financial Field box office.

Maybe this will be the year I get lucky and get through to Ticketmaster....

Their defense was pimped by Campbell for the most part. As always winning is going to rely on stopping Tiki. Make Eli beat you and the Eagles win. And put two people on Burress. I hope Shockey isn't 100%.

I don't think anyone will argue that stopping Tiki is the absolute key to this game.

Star Trek redshirts vs Star Wars stormtroopers? Shoot me now for even making the reference, but it fits.

The Eagles owe the Giants a playoff loss...

Ack...that makes me queasy just thinking about that play.

I'm totally thrilled at the schedule. We'll make my dad's service in lower DE on Saturday, and then head up for the tailgate Sunday morning, and go home after the game.

You have to get the sniping software, Tixanator, or some stupid name like that... not that I'd know anything about that. No, sir. But I hear that you can set it to damn near gurantee your request goes through before any manual requests...
Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...

I'll have to try that stuff next year when regular season tix go on sale. No playoffs for me this year...gotta work Sunday because I have school orientation on Monday. :-\

Maybe you can pass along the info from your, um, sources in the spring. :D

Thats a pure bitch! Although I do work a lot of Sundays, I take off at 12:00 during football season, no matter were I am or what I'm doing.

Tiki is coming off the best game of his career, and he wants to go out with a bang. He will be tough to stop. The Eagles O needs a quick lead and the D needs to knock Manning on his ass. With a game like this, I want to win the toss and score first, because a game like this could come down to who ever has the ball for the games last possesion. This is the tie breaker, and I think it will be close. A blowout would be great, but I don't think it will happen.

Yeah, normally I have been good at getting off on Sundays to bask in the glory of the NFL. But I work nights so its usually not an issue. Except for this time.
