It's funny and pathetic at the same time.  If the Eagles get stuck in a tie with only the Giants and Falcons, they're screwed....but if anyone else also ends up 8-8, the tiebreaking system changes and lets us in...

Yesterday was the Giants' worst regular-season loss at Giants Stadium since a 50-21 defeat to the taterskins on Sept. 19, 1999.... The Giants' 59 net passing yards were their lowest total since they had 48 on Dec. 15, 1996, also against New Orleans.
