They know the deal with this type of situation already--they had the same situation with He Flag Me. A starting CB disguised as a nickle CB and being paid as a nickle CB. Why they are doing this to Hood is something that I just don't get.

Hmmm... well that certainly explains their awful play during four out of the past five games.  I mean, how can you possibly be expected to play to the best of your abilities when the contract squabbles of a back-up cornerback consumes your every waking moment?!

Also - I wonder if the guys who recently received millions of dollars in extensions are also on the verge of mutiny?

Thats what I don't like - these fools in the locker room who are acting out over this. Shutting up and playing football is more important. Well, at least in Philadelphia its not.

The Eagles FO is flat out wrong on this one. But for the players to be getting all uppity is wrong too.

I agree that the front office is acting stupidly.  They're as wrong as they can be on this issue.

Still, if the players are going to use Rod Hood's situation as an excuse for their awful play (and I can only assume that they are) then they're nothing but bitchmade Hoydas.

if you are one of those people who hate on players who hold out even tho they are under ontract then you have to be equally if not more disgusted by the actions of the team in this case

to me tho the bigger issue is the coach is not putting the best players on the field simply out of spite...to me you get fired on the spot for doing that...its stealing from the fans....and is as unproffesional as you can get


and newsflash: just because the players are pissed off about whats going on with the shady dealings of the franchise doesnt mean they arent giving 100%...they have every right to be unhappy about what the gestapo in the FO is doing without being accused of unprofessionalism

1. I'm more disgusted with the team in this instance. I said it on Sunday and I'll say it again - Hood should have been in there for STs purposes alone. I'm fine with them if they wanna get a look at Will Peterson to see if he's their guy for next year. But Hood should still be out on that field in uniform. Hell, the FO should have known that Hood was outta here since last year. I've been saying that he's done in Philly since Brian Williams got that crazy deal from JAX.

I disagree that this team isn't good.  Hell, they have talent.  Lots of it.

They're one of the dumbest teams ever assembled and a lot of them aren't playing to the best of their abilities.  To me, when you start seeing that, it's a coaching issue.
