I'm glad I didn't wake up in time to see this one. I didn't really want to be up at 4 am anyway.

Gotta love how we're just as screwed for 2007 as we are for 2006.  :boom

The good news is that he might be able to start the season next year. McNabb is a rigorous trainer, and he gets himself in excellent shape. 9 months from now will be the end of August.

I think he might be ready to go by the beginning of next season, but the Eagles still need to make it a priority to get someone who might have to start for a month at the beginning of next year.

I was watching the post-game stuff on the official site, and they were showing the cameraman on the sidelines closest to McNabb without actually having him in frame. I turned it off after the 73rd time one of those farging morons in the stands shouted "You're still living in Ricky's shadow."

I hate you people. All of you.

So the wonderful fans were telling him he is living is Reefer Rick's shadow as the guy is getting carted off the field?

Man we have some idiotic fans. And I wonder why the McNabb family hates the fans in this city. But listen to some and they should get over it. Right. :boo

Quasimoto

That is downright embarassing.  I guess some people don't deserve to see a winning team.  :-\

can't say i feel sorry for someone who can't even lead his team to show up against the freakin titans.   he hasn't and won't ever win shtein.  especially since he can't seem to stay healthy for an entire season.  he's obviously leaps and bounds better then ricky williams.. but for someone who hasn't delivered anything to this city except disappointment, him and his family should get down off the throne they have so readily perched themselves on.

Yeah, but Palmer trained back and clearly wasn't the same. Same with Culpepper. McNabb's isn't nearly as serious, so we'll see, but if he isn't going to be 100% for 2007 then we have zero chance of going anywhere, unless this team can build a Bears-like defense where we don't need to score 20 points a game to win.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

i'm not the one still bitching and moaning about getting booed the better part of a decade ago.

Right.  You're the one shteinting on the best QB this team has ever had.

No but you're bitching and moaning about the best QB this team has ever had. Go chill with your boy Shoulderpad Sean.

Eaglez

I dunno, Palmer looks pretty good this year, and he had a helluva day today.

But, I agree. Even with a healthy McNabb at the start of next season this team needs a serious attitude adjustment. They play uninspired football and it is really disheartening to watch.

LBIggle

good qb, yeah... no ones denied that.  he's also a leader of this team, and in that department he's failed miserably.  until he wins something he'll continue to hear stupid shtein being thrown in his direction. especially when he lets it be well known that it bothers him.  even when he was healthy it was obvious this team wasn't going anywhere this year.  and now that he's gone it's a foregone conclusion.

MDS

Well that's it. I hate football.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
