I was talking about 'Gears of War'. The commercial is pretty badass and I did some nerd research online and everyone seems to like it a bunch.

$499 or $599 for system alone depending on which one.

So is it DVD capatible or just Blu Ray? I heard the graphics aren't any better than the 360 (which I'm biased towards)

at which point expect to pay $70 or $80 for a game to pay for that harnessing of power. at least until it becomes more mainsteam in the development process.

anyone play "God of War" for PS2 yet?  IGN gave it a rating of 9.8 out of 10, which is the 2nd highest rated PS2 game ever by them (behind GTASA).   Looks like a cool game.

I just beat GOW the other day.   One of the best games i've played.

Got Gears of War on tuesday. It is a lot of fun, but I wish there were more to the gameplay. Probably the best looking game I've ever played. The graphics are polished, crisp, very detailed.

The game is a ton of fun to play, and while I didn't beat it yet, I heard it is very short so that is one downside. The other is I wish they could've added a different type of element to it to truly make it the complete game.

I was thinking about the Wii myself, but apparently the graphics arn't that much better than the PS2 and X-box.  Right now I am leaning torwards x-box 360 just because of the price and i know a few people with it to play online with.  Then again I think about all the cool PS2 games I still have, and maybe in 2 yrs I might look into getting the PS3. Either way I'm going to wait for awhile, try them out myself before I buy.

I was just a circuit city today an saw 2 groups of losers in tents awaiting the opening for PS3's. Must be nice.

Played Gears of War last night. 2 player campaign, WOW, just WOW. The graphics have to be the best Ive ever played, the sounds everything make it one intense game.    I was very impressed.  Almost worth buying x-box 360 alone just for this game.
