True, but if you're going to call a play, all the routes have to be either in the endzone or right on the line....not on the 2 yard line and hope he can get in. Not saying McNabb didn't screw up...just saying...you can't run that play and not have everyone in the endzone or on the line.

I can't wait to see the million complaints about time management after the game. That play had NOTHING to do with time management. The drive was managed perfectly. Andy would not call a pass to the 3 yard line, that was all on McNabb and he is having a poor game today no question.

3. The offense, despite its dumbass play at the end, finally got going. Perhaps they carry that over.

its andys fault in that you cant have that route in the play at all...mcnabb shouldnt even have that option...especially when you know he wont hesitate to throw it there as hes done uncountable times in his career

that's exactly what he did, AR was betting on the fact that the Barber would follow Baskett to the corner of the end zone and LJ would be able to run right in.  unfortunately, McNabb was smart enough to throw the ball away once Barber stayed home. 

but the play was to LJ, no doubt.

oddly enough though, mcnabb's been pretty damn accurate with his throws today.  that pass to lj woulda been a great time for a worm burner.

If the had poor time management they wouldn't have gotten down to goal in the first place. McNabb simply made a poor decision. That decision didn't have anything to do with Andy's ability to manage the clock on drives. No way Andy called that play. McNabb most likely got excited and threw the ball without thinking.
