You're the original homer.  Sure, these guys may have taken it to the next level but you it was only because of your inspirational guidance.  If homerism were the force, you'd be Yoda and Skins fans would be Anikin Skywalker.

Actually it's spelled Anakin

Bubba says...

QuoteBold Prediction

I could be completely wrong, but I have a feeling that this game isn't going to be like anything anyone expects

I think the Skins will not only win but score more than 21 points, and win by at least 10 points.

It's not just a homer feeling.

I think the Skins have too much speed on offense and the OL will have a big game against the Jags DL, which will give Brunell time to throw, and Give Portis lanes to get big yardage, because the Jags crowd the line and if he can get past the first wave, it could be "off to the races"

You also see the defense getting better each week, I think this week, they eliminate the stupid penalties on 3rd down, and are able to pressure Leftwich and his slow windup motion, and clay feet. Our D is the most physical they've played so far, IMO

I also have a feeling the Jags will be on an emotional let down after losing to the Colts yet again, and may take the Skins lightly because of the slow start and just beating the Texans last week.

If we can get a lead and force them into a game of catchup, and not controlling the clock with their run game, we can take them out of their game and beat them... If we can control the clock like last week... but that is a big if

'thinking' and 'feeling' are the ultimate words of homerism.

Quote- Looking across all trades, here is the sum total -- Champ Bailey, one first round pick, two second round picks, four third round picks, two fourth round picks and a sixth round pick for the following: Clinton Portis, Jason Campbell, James Thrash, Rocky McIntosh, Brandon Lloyd, Mark Brunell and TJ Duckett. Out of that haul, only three players are starters – Portis is the only elite player.

Ouch!  :-D

And it begins.

QuoteWhere's the flag for excessive celebration? I certainly saw more than Jag celebrating. F'in biased zebras.

Quoteno penalty for their celebration......

MDS

It's so obvious at this point. How can the refs got away with this.

BTW nice tackling on the Williams TD.  :-D
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

General_Failure

He ran right through three guys like they weren't even there. Pathetic defense.

The man. The myth. The legend.

QuoteAnother nice punt by Frost, we have our first pro bowler of the year !!

Awesome.

QuoteARE!! ALMOST HIS 1st PASS!!

Randle-El was going to throw the ball but no one was open so he ran for 4 yards.  This guy gets excited a little too easily.

The rest of the herd loves ARE's decision making.

QuoteSmart play by ARE....heads up.

QuoteI hate to say it, but Randel El looks like a better QB than Brunell. Checks all receivers, doesn't make the stupid throwaway.

Sgt PSN

I.  Can't.  Stop.

QuoteWow... solid kick... maybe Hall is having a Frost-like awakening?

TexasEagle

Those people aren't fans, they're zealots. Gibbs can start his own religion with those maniacs.

Sgt PSN

QuoteI like our chances if we force turn overs

Brilliant!

After their last series, everyone was saying Brunnell looked injured.  Now that he completed a pass over the middle to Cooley, they love his arm strength.  :-D
