they faced the same texans team the skins just did and stallworth had by far the best game of any wr on either team

That seems like it would be a very reasonable retort IGs, but over there, you'd get this:

This thread is about Donte, and he changes the subject to talk about Santana Moss. Moss is as relevant to this thread is as Randy Moss.

Again, a player has to play to be a factor.

Reminds me of South Park:
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Here's another take:

ARE 3 Games: 10 catches 76 yards 7.6 Avg. 1 TD
Lloyd 3 Games: 3 catches 26 yards 8.7 Avg. 0 TD
Stallworth 2 Games: 11 catches 222 yards 20.2 Avg. 2 TD

So Stallworth has produced more yards and TDs and a much higher YPC avg. after 2 games compared to a combined 6 games by the Skins offseason WR pickup.

This is why the skins will still win the east and go to the Super Bowl:

Quotetaterskins | Frost performing well on punts
Tue, 26 Sep 2006 22:32:02 -0700

Jason La Canfora, of the Washington Post, reports Washington taterskins P Derrick Frost is coming off the two best games of his career and has some of the best numbers in the league. Frost is second in the NFL in average yards per punt with a 49.3-yard average. His net average of 40.1 yards per punt is eighth in the league.

And many wanted him cut. Said Coach Joe was being too loyal to him.

It's the genius of that bubble gum chewing jitbag Danny Smith who has him booming punts!

I wish they would've signed the guy who wore his leg out after 2 hours of practice.

Are their fans actually predicting a victory over Jacksonville this weekend?

PhillyPhreak54

Most.

Some are worried about Jones and the rest of the tall WRs without Springs.

But most think a rebirth has taken place and that Saunders and Gibbs have righted the ship. They believe that since Portis is back they are great.

And most of them are dismissing the Henderson/Stroud DT duo. Said Henderson is a puss because he has the guy smack the shtein out of him before the game to get pumped up. Think Rabach/Dockery and Thomas will pimp slap them.

Very much so. Down here on the Snyder paid for radio stations, they are talking about how they are going to grind the Jags to dust with their awesome run game, and the Skins D will stuff the Jags anemic offense.

On the other non-Danny owned stations, callers and hosts alike believe the Skins will triumph undoubtedly, but it'll be a tough game.

They are all so out of touch. Jacksonville is going to eviscerate them. It's going to be so very enjoyable to watch.

My popcorn is ready for that as well.  I'm glad the Eagles are on Monday night, because I want to watch every bit of the Jacksonville massacre of the skins live in high definition.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Shawn Springs had to go see a specialist in Philly today (probably William Myers, the guy who did McNabbs surgery).

ESers want Snyder to trade for Nate Clements right now. They say give up a #1 for him.

MadMarchHare

Which 1 would that be?  The 2007 one is going to Denver.  The 2008?
Anyone but Reid.

MDS

God gives Joe Gibbs unlimited #1 picks. Thus the idiotic trades.

Fios

Hello, I am a fan of an opposing NFC East team and I have opinions other than the ones voiced here!
Um, in all seriousness, any knowledgable Skins fan (I hope to include myself and not be labled pretentious) has no illusions about how difficult the Jagyooarrrrrrrrs game will be, especially without the services of Mr. Springs. Frankly I've seen/heard/read/dreamt about none of the overly confident swagger cited here. And, yes I live in the DC area, so I'm exposed to it. Full disclosure: I also work for TheHogs.Net.
It's a very tough game, as are the next four. I'd be pleased with a 2-2 split.
P.S. The Eagles suck (I'm required to say that)
If you can't eat the horse whole you might as well ... wait, why are we eating a horse?

MDS

Wow. I, along with Terrell Owens, wish you nothing short of death.

Good: At least you're not from Extremeskins

Bad: You still are a Skins fan.

Welcome.
