Has the Brunell Hall of Fame talk sprung up again?

No good stories from Art. Bragged about talkin to Sonny and Sam. How he has media credidentials, and his close friendship with Larry Michael. But, as always, his thoughts on the Skins are well-thought and truthful.

Post-game thoughts -- This team is resiliant, but, remains flawed. You can't beat good teams with no real threat passing the ball. The energy and fight brought by Portis matters more than about anything else to these guys. Franchise back is all you can say. But, while he gives us an edge, we need something to open up in the passing game differently than we seem capable. I'm watching the Niners against the Eagles and have seen about 10 balls go downfield already. I think we had three attempts even travel more than 10 yards in the air. Two were called back. You can't win that way against the best. Resiliancy will only get you so far when you can't keep defenses more honest.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

They get JAX next week. Listen to those brakes squeal on the taterskins playoff caboose.

Jacksonville is going to absolutely ass rape the Skins. It will be extremely enjoyable to watch. Brunnell's head is going to be removed before halftime. What will be the most sweet, is the aftermath, when the ES iceholes have to realize the "clicking offense" they saw today was because they were playing a "terrible defense", and that alone.

***wipes drool from mouth***

That game will be the highlight of my Sunday.  The Jags are going to beat their asses to sleep.

More Bubba, this guy is a major league tool...

QuoteWhy does the Eagles need to use a flea flicker against the niners???

Reid only did that to farg with us. We were excited about the run, upset that it was a pass, excited about the big play, and a little miffed that it was underthrown. God damned rollercoaster of a play, it was.

The man. The myth. The legend.

It's a reasonable question. I mean other than the atrocious english, pompous attitude and inability to understand that getting a lead is important against any team, especially one with some emerging offensive firepower like the Niners. Completely reasonable.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Bubba is familiar with teams that break out the playbook against Houston, he can't fathom some team doing a trick play against pathetic San Fran.

This doesn't really go in a taterskins thread, but didn't want to start a Rams Fans Are Pathetic thread all by itself.  I'm not even sure if this is going to work out.

My buddy is a Rams fan (when they are good, of course), and a hater of all thinigs Philadelphia.  Not sure why, he's never been east of Illinois.  Anyway, I had to share this AIM thread because it's so pathetic:

Quote
[14:14] BluesStanley: can't...  because your bias is against all things Philadelphia
[14:15] BluesStanley: you have said that Philly sucks, you hate Philly, people from Philly, etc...   yet you have never even been there...
[14:15] iplaygoal: that is true
[14:15] BluesStanley: that's bias
[14:15] iplaygoal: I feel the same way towards from Detroit
[14:15] BluesStanley: again, bias
[14:16] iplaygoal: no, just added bonus
[14:16] BluesStanley: still bias
[14:16] iplaygoal: Are you a fan of Le'Roi Glover?
[14:16] BluesStanley: could take him or leave him
[14:16] iplaygoal: were you a fan of his last year?
[14:16] BluesStanley: but would rather leave him
[14:16] BluesStanley: he's never been on either list for me
[14:17] iplaygoal: wow...guess that Philly hatred for the Cowboys was not as strong as I thought
[14:17] iplaygoal: I thought you guys were passionate
[14:17] iplaygoal: guess I was wrong
[14:17] iplaygoal: You'd never hear a Rams fan admitting to liking ....
[14:17] iplaygoal: DAMMIT
[14:17] iplaygoal: I can't think of his name now
[14:17] BluesStanley: had he ever been an impact player against Philly, the hatred would have been there
[14:18] iplaygoal: the LB for the 9ers
[14:18] BluesStanley: tell me where I said I liked him?
[14:18] BluesStanley: go ahead, show me
[14:18] iplaygoal: you said "take him or leave him"
[14:18] BluesStanley: and?
[14:18] iplaygoal: that means you would take him
[14:18] BluesStanley:
[14:18] BluesStanley: tell me where I said I liked him?
[14:18] iplaygoal: that is not hatred
[14:18] BluesStanley: I think you are suffering from point deficiency
[14:19] iplaygoal: Rams fans have true hatred.
[14:19] BluesStanley: how can you hate a team that can't beat anyone
[14:19] iplaygoal: They are so passionate about football, they HATE them
[14:19] BluesStanley: oh yeah -- except the Rams
[14:19] BluesStanley: Rams fans passionate about football?  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH {breathe} HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
[14:21] iplaygoal: 1 - I was talking about back when the 9ers were good
[14:22] iplaygoal: you probably don't remember that because Philly fans are so bandwagon, they didn't follow the team back then because they were not good
[14:23] iplaygoal: 2 - the reason I brought it up, is that as a passionate football fan, you grow to completely hate another team.  In STL, that team in SF (and Dallas).
[14:23] iplaygoal: In Philly, I thought it was Dallas
[14:24] iplaygoal: apparently they are not that passionate so it does not matter to them.....however I digree
[14:24] iplaygoal: digress
[14:25] iplaygoal: I was going to say that you hated Glover when he was in Dallas.  Now that he is with STL, you probably still hate him, just not as much as you did when he played for the Cowboys.  That is not biased, just passion
[14:39] BluesStanley: you must smell really bad
[14:40] BluesStanley: 1) StL doesn't have enough history to really hate a team
[14:40] BluesStanley: 2) StL is not passionate about football.  Baseball? Yes.  Football, no.  Hockey, no.
[14:41] BluesStanley: you can tell that you can't give away tickets when the team sucks
[14:41] BluesStanley: CAN'T GIVE THEM AWAY

That's when he stopped talking to me....

The Andre Carter pickup was a good one, I'll give them credit. Good young pass rusher that wasnt overpaid. They did overpay for everyone else though.
