I just can't wait to hear the excuses. Because when their little "its just preseason" argument goes right down the shteinter, I am going to laugh. I might even sign up there again for the first time in 5 years. I've got a hit list Art, Bubba, tr1 and praise_gibbs and a few others.

They even have signature pics with pictures of vanilla ice cream in them. Seriously. I mean, come on.

Once again they think that Joe Gibbs has invented the NFL...

Today Gibbs announced that if Brunell gets hurt that Collins comes in to finish the game. So Todd Collins is the #2 QB. And  god ol' Joe said that if Brunell missed the next game then Campbell starts.

You know - kinda like the Eagles have done for years since they had Koy as the "backup" and the long term backup (Feeley, Blake, McMahon, Feeley again) as #3.

But the ES'ers think Gibbs just crapped out a golden plan again...

I think that for me to think I know more about the QB situation than Joe Gibbs would be like him thinking he knows more than me about my porn collection - it's just not going to happen!

My own uneducated opinion still thinks this is a pretty rad idea, though. Unconventional, but what really hasn't been lately?

Coach Gibbs Makes A Decision

This decision WORKS for this team.

All of the ranting, second guessing, complaining and out right rudeness from some of the posters came down to a EXCELLENT decision by a HOF coach.

Who would have ever thought it.

Coach Gibbs is such a great coach......he works so hard for this team.....and is striving to take us back to the Super Bowl. This is not a "homer" or "kool aid" attitude......this is what a HOF coach is all about.

So many on here have questioned his ability and "if he does this" or "if he does that" .......and what does he do...........he once AGAIN proves he is a HOF coach.

Coach Gibbs and the whole coaching staff are geniuses. This is a perfect situation and will work out for the team should something happen to Brunell. Collins is a veteran with experience who can close out a game for us but if it is a week to week basis for Brunell they will take the week and get Campbell ready and he will start the next week. It wont hurt Campbell's confidence because he will be the starter which should boost his confidenced. This is the best situation for the team and so glad to hear this news

Where is the "anti homer" crowd?

They actually believe the guy INVENTED saving the 3rd QB in case the starter gets hurt. I feel like John Belushi in Animal House when he says "they took the bar!" over and over.

They really think that Joe Gibbs is the only guy who though to use the #2 as an in game replacement and use the 3rd QB as a long term option!

If something is to happen to Brunell during a game, Todd closes the game and Campbell starts the next game if Brunell is still out. Coach Gibbs says it in the press conference on taterskins.com, incase any of you are confused.

I would have never thought of that, but that seems like the best thing that could be done.

McNabb=Choker. It's between the ears why he's second to Brunell.
Manning=Still not ready for primetime.
Bledsoe=One dimentional sitting duck with a bullseye on his chest.
(If sacks weren't allowed in football, he might jump to the top)

The best group of RB's in the division.

Giants=Tiki's good, but it's a one man show, and that won't be enough this year.
Cowboys=Marion Barber should start instead of the overrated Jones.
Eagles=They will be twice as good this year running the ball. So what?

The best group of Receivers in the division.

Giants=Solid at best. MIA at worst.
Cowboys=Would fare better without T.O. in the long run. C'est La Vie!
Eagles=If Stallworth would have been here since minicamp, they'd bump Dallas.

The best Offensive Line in the division.

Eagles/Giants a toss up for 2nd.
Cowboys line struggles from week one on.

Best "Overall" Defense in the division.

Cowboys=Barely edge out the Giants D.
Giants=Smoke evaporates, mirrors break.
Eagles=Trotter can't play all three LB spots at the same time.

So then, it's....

Eagles 10-6 Win tiebreaker for wildcard, lose wildcard game
Giants 8-8 Drama queen gets run out of NY on a rail
Cowboys 7-9 Parcells retires, again. T.O. puts 3rd notch in his belt.

The Cowboys are dead, they just don't know it yet.
