You can't possibly be serious.  I'm all about ripping on the skins and their fans, but you're seriously arguing that since their mascot happens to be some form of Native American, skins fans shouldn't paint their faces... because it's racist?  That is pretty much the biggest pile of hippie crap I've ever heard.  Awful.

Wrong.  Painting one's face in the color of the home team is a perfectably acceptable sports tradition.  It's not the fans' fault that the team has an insensitive mascot name, and they should not be denied any part of being sports fans just because of that unfortunate circumstance.

Do I think the team name should be changed?
Probably.
Do I think skins fans are racist for painting their faces just like any other teams' sports fans?
Absolutely not.
Do I think you're an over-sensitive politically-charged quasi-intellectual?
Yes.

Can we at least agree that the best solution would be for all skins fans and employees to kill themselves?

If you come to the game with war paint and a headress and are jumping around hollering, you're a racist douche.

If you come wearing a jersey, face half gold, have burgundy, you're just a douche.

I think that, in general, painting one's face is deporably annoying and douche-like behavior... but not racist.
