I loved seeing Dirk hold flawlessly on three long FG's.  Bye, Koy.

Well, there goes Deion Branch.....

Brown
Baskett
Avant

Lewis
Pinkston
McCants
Gaffney
Bloom

I still think they could easily cut/bury 3 guys from that second group to fit Branch in with ease.

Eagles WRs opening day:

Brown
Baskett
Avant
Lewis
Gaffney
McCants

Pinky cant be relied on to be the player he used to be.

My only thing is what do they do with Pinky? Does anybody really think that Reid would cut him outright?  Personally I just can't imagine that happening, maybe he gets another "injury" and goes on IR again.

hey you wanna IR him, fine with me just dont save a precious spot on the team for a broke down WR, we already waste a yearly spot on Mahe

I don't care if he makes the team at all, I am just saying I can't imagine Reid just getting rid of him.

The best thing for everyone right now is for Pinky to get hit by a car. Maybe he dies, maybe he goes into a coma. All I know is it would keep Reid from having to make a difficult choice, give the media something to talk about besides Dallas' receiver that won't practice, and give the team something to rally behind.

Pinky, I know you're reading this. Do the right thing, man.

Then let said Dallas receiver get hit by the car, go into a coma, and trade Pinky.  They would get better production from him anyway.

When Pinky goes, and that is when and not if, I wonder if there are any teams desperate enough to give him a tryout.

Catapult

10-to-1 he'll get another job in the NFL before Big Mouth Mitchell does.  ;D

even though they didn't give up any points, the 1st team defense didn't look great in my opinion.  in fact, i fear that the Steelers may have exposed one of the few ways to move the ball against the defense.  the dline will be very good to great, i think we can all agree on that.  but the way to combat that is but letting them rush up the field and throw a screen pass behind them.  and with these lousy linebackers, once a rb gets into the 2nd level with blockers, it's going to be trouble.

I agree that is a big concern.

I agree that's something that they have to get better at but that's textbook for any agressive defense.
