His knees must be in quality condition for teams like the Rams and Eagles, with zero depth at RB, to pass on him.

With the taterskins signing Duckett, there is an extra majn in the backfield in Washington. I would love for the Eagles to make a run at Rock Cartright. I think he would be an excellent tough yardage man for us.

make a run at Rock Cartright

The fact that we have to talk about going for the skins' 4th RB as "mak(ing) a run" is really sad on many levels.

methdeez

Because the Eagles definition of "market value" for free agents, is usually one 7th round draft pick for each pro-bowl reached. I can't imagine what we'd offer for Rock. A used handi-wipe?

PoopyfaceMcGee

It depends who used it and how thoroughly used it is.

unless CBUCK gets hurt, explain why they would add a back?

Westbrook, Moats, Mahe, and a healthy CBUCK are pretty much locks at RB.   Unless one has an injury they wouldnt add another and keep 5 tailbacks on the roster.

PoopyfaceMcGee

CBUCK won't be healthy much longer.

ice grillin you

buck can be healthy and just not be that any good anymore...being healthy is only part of it he still needs to be able to play

B/C Cbuck, Moats and Mahe are mediocre to Crap.

The BIGSTUD

You haven't seen enough of Moats to call him crap. In fact what you saw in meaningful regular season games last year was enough to call him promising. Which is pretty much the opposite of crap.

He hasn't done shtein in preseason. Big farging deal. Neither has Reggie Brown. Neither has Westbrook.

Westbrook has at least one TD to boast.  I saw it.

you guys are all talking as fans instead of thinking like Reid.   The question is not would YOU add a running back, the question is: Why would REID add a running back?   Obviously he doesnt think they guys he has are crap.

The BIGSTUD

He'd add a RB if health is an issue. If Buck can't play well tonight, and can't cut on those knees, then he'd probably be fine with adding one.

So what you're saying is if they don't have enough healthy RBs, they'll add one. That sounds a little fishy to me...
