Yeah, there was a lot of potential in that movie and some very good acting, but the end result wasn't really very suspenseful or very exciting IMO.  Although, I'm a big fan of Cusack and John C. McGinley, so I'd probably give it closer to a 3.5.  Plus, I'd love to shove a baseball bat down Jake Busey's throat and kill him.

Ray Liotta was the best in Identity. Liotta is the man. I personally can't stand Cusack and his stupid romantic comedy performances.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Bill Simmons grades "Devil Wears Prada", "Talladega Nights", "Miami Vice", "Clerks 2", and "Invincible"

I gotta see "Invincible".

QuoteI liked Kinnear's portrayal of Vermeil, but he doesn't cry once. How is that possible? There better be a deleted scene on the DVD when he's bawling like a baby in the locker room. And while we're here, can we have a director's commentary where Vermeil alternately comments and sobs as he watches the movie?

QuoteFor the official verdict, we'll have to wait until HBO is showing it 900 times next August. In the meantime, I urge every Philly sports fan to see this movie -- you'll love the old Eagles footage, you'll love the scenes of Philly fans doing the whole down-in-the-dumps-at-a-bar thing, you'll love the footage of the city, and you even get a happy ending for once. Enjoy.

I got a free pass from work to see it on the 22nd.  Can't wait.

Coach Carter- felt like a combonation of hoosiers and boy meets world, except with black people.  :cfhead :cfhead .5
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

watched The Aviator today.  i really, really liked it.  Dicaprio was excellent.  Howard Hughes was a farged up cat.

Yep.

Just finished watching "Brick".  It's really a well-crafted and well-acted film.  Some people would compare it to "Donnie Darko", but it's all reality and no fantasy.  Anyway, definitely worth a rent.

4/5.

Rome

I feel like crap after last night so I blew off the concert tonight.

Yay me.

I love the scene where Pitt & Jolie are beating the shtein out of each other and the song (NWA sample actually) playing in the background is "Express Yourself."

Good stuff.

I love that shtein too.  Perfect sound for that scene.
