Saw A History of Violence tonight. Most of my friends said it was awful, except a couple who loved it. It got very good reviews, so I decided to check it out to see which side of the fence I was on.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't think it was great, but it was a good movie.

8/10

Saw Wedding Crashers yesterday. Vince Vaughn was funny but it got too romantic for my likings in a comedy. Still enjoyable though. Worth the time to watch it I'd say.

7.5/10
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

ice grillin you

I love the scene where Pitt & Jolie are beating the shtein out of each other and the song (NWA sample actually) playing in the background is "Express Yourself."

charles wright and the 103rd st watts band....in the 70's they were some of the coolest pimped out brothers you could find...check em out

Mr. and Mrs. Smith was ok for the simple fact that Vince Vaughn was in it and the standard Vaughntacular formula was applied.  The more V V the better the flick.  Wedding Crashers = hilarious, Mr. and Mrs. Smith = ok.

How do you explain the "Psycho" remake, smart guy?

How about "Made"?

General_Failure

Hero (the one with Jet Li, not one of the other ones) - I thought it was great up until the twist. After that it was still interesting, but not as much.  :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

Attack on Precinct 13 (original version) - I wasn't expecting a whole lot, so it was entertaining. A little cheesy, but that's to be expected. :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

The man. The myth. The legend.

i may be one of the few people that actually liked Made.

a lot of people were hoping for "Swingers II" with it and were dissappointed. but i enjoyed it overall. not a great movie by any means. but it was decent.

the psycho remake was terrible.

vaughn isnt really all that good of an actor...he does one thing well. and even then it's not all the time.

You're fruity.

SunMo

speaking of fruity, i saw the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this weekend.  i didn't want to watch it, but i did, i didn't want to like it, and i kinda did.  Depp was very good.

i usually despise remakes, but this one was ok.

I saw that the other night as well. I didn't like it though. I thought the original was better although I didn't like that much either.

Continuing on the fruity theme, I just watched The Madness of King George.  Its about King George's descent into insanity and the ensuing power struggle.  I actually liked it.

Saw Team America World Police this weekend through a glaze of beer and hamburger grease. Pretty goddamned hilarious.  3.5/5

Also rewatched Donnie Darko. It's still amazing. 5/5
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?
