Why do you do that to yourself?  Morbid curiosity?

V for Vendetta was awesome.

I agree, I posted my review multiple pages back. I loved the movie. I saw it again last night. First DVD I bought in a while. It's one of the best movies I've seen in the last 5 years.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

V for Vendetta was one of the movies available to watch on my flight from Brisbane to LA. 14 hour flight. I couldn't watch more than two minutes of it.

The man. The myth. The legend.

The first 5-10 minutes were pretty bad. I agree. The rest of it farging ruled.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

compared to Sin City, another graphic novel....the V for vendetta groupies, how does it stand up?

IMO not even comparison to originality, creativity and action.

Sin City was more of a fun, violence/hot chicks/explosions movie. V was not nearly as testosterone-laden and had much more subtle acting/writing/purpose. I loved both for very different reasons.

I thought the same thing. When he started rhyming every word in the english language that started with a V, I thought the movie was going to be some lame poetry read. But it turned out to have a very good story, good action, good direction, and I loved the movie score.
