Bah anyway.  So, her movie nudity will be about 2 years behind the paparazzi.

It will be a "body double" in the shadows or something.

i saw Superman Returns...

the effects were nice. but there wasnt anything original in it. in fact the first two hours were basically a re shoot of the original movie.

I told you all to see it in IMAX.  If you didn't and thus thought the movie sucked, that's your own damn fault.

Wingspan

i did see it on imax.

despite the effects, i thought it as barely ok....

the first 2 hours of it was just a rehash of superman 1. nevermind that it made no sense that he was gone for five years and then it's 2006 in the movie, when superman II was set in 1980.

Watched Dogtown and Z Boys last night (documentary on the guys that inspired the movie).

If you've ever been into skating/surfing it was interesting.
If you can't stand middle aged white guys who have their hair dreadlocked and use words like 'radical' you'll be driven mad.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I thought the movie was really well done.  To me its amazing how much they looked like they're real life characters.  The doc was well done also.

not really

superman comes barrelling out of the sky in a meteor like rocket thing from krypton - S1 check, SR check
image/voice of jurel explaining who he is - S1 check, SR check
clark kent fumbling though daily planet on his first day - S1 check, SR check
superman fixes giant split in the ground S1 check, SR check
superman and lois fly together - S1 check, SR check
superman is in a pool of water weakend by kryptonite - S1 check, SR check
femme fatale (luthor's girlfriend) feels bad for superman - S1 check, SR check

it was ok. Superman Returns is more of an homage to christopher reeve and the original movie than it is a standalone movie. dazzling special effects are just eye candy. it was a good popcorn type summer time wasting movie thats all. but i had an imax gift card...so i wasnt disappointed. i just wasnt thrilled.

i thought the "twist" was just stupid.

Quotesuperman fixes giant split in the ground S1 check, SR check

kinda the point of the movie, they're still in love

Quotesuperman is in a pool of water weakend by kryptonite - S1 check, SR check

that whole scene was different and much more intense than the regular movie

Quotefemme fatale (luthor's girlfriend) feels bad for superman - S1 check, SR check

ok, but she doesn't do anything to help him, unlike S1

Quoteit was ok. Superman Returns is more of an homage to christopher reeve and the original movie than it is a standalone movie.

while it had a lot of cool call backs to the original, it was it's own movie with it's own story.  it's probably a flaw of the comic book that he only has one true villian to fight, unlike Spiderman and Batman, but taking that into account, this movie has it's own place in the Superman series.

meh. i dont care that much to keep going into why i thought Superman Returns was an below average movie that tried so hard to dazzle and amaze you, when they should have worried about the story.

you didn't like it, i don't care about that, but your reasoning is flawed.  just say you didn't like it, who cares.  but to say it's just a remake of the first one is incorrect.

I could certainly see that point of view.  Brosnan was mildly amusing, but way over the top.
