one of the great scenes in movie history in a good or bad movie....altho the movie itself was amazingly bad

Damnation Alley...a sci-fi flick from 1977. The guy from the A-Team was in it, the guy with the cigar in his mouth. Anyway this "sci-fi thriller" dealt with the surviving population of the US after a nuclear holocaust. one group of people on their way from cali to albany ny of all places. the special effects were, well "special" and the script was fargin tear jerking funny. It was on encore and its replaying the 29th of july. WATCH IT!

His name's George Peppard, and he did some decent movies pre-A team. Mostly WWII flicks.
