Sorry. :(

And now he loses the shutout too.

Byrd lines out to CF and Anderson tags and scores.

1-1

Wait to ruin it Phreak.

I forgot how I kind of like to listen to a game on the Radio every once in a while. That said, farg FOX.

I have half a mind to go up there and kick your butt.

Never mind, you have a gun.  I'll stay in Florida.  :paranoid

 :-D, Geo

Apparently Rowand just got credit for a foul ball hit. Derryl Cousins called it fair down the 3B line and got stuck in the tarp. It is a ground rule double.

Howard goes back to 3B, Rowand is at 2B now.

Rowand is now 3-3 today.

1 out

Livan is going to IBB Bell because the oh-for-his-career-Coste is in the on deck circle.

Bases will be juiced for him with 1 out. He has lined out twice today.

Big time to get his first hit.

It would be great if it was a grand slam. :paranoid

Coste grounds into a goddamn 5-4-3 DP.

goddamn bum

Way to farging ruin it AGAIN Phreak. I like the play by play, but leave the Bunkley78-esque predictions at the door.  ;)

Phreak leaves, and the Phils make a big comeback.

Coincidence?  I think not...  ;)

I didnt listen to the game, but it is clearly evident that Coste has no business being in the major leagues.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Geowhizzer

Couple of things, since I didn't see or hear the game (except checking up on the yahoo boxscore from time to time):

1.  The Coste watch:  0-for-8.
2.  Good start by Lidle:  6 IP, 2 ER.  He was stellar through four, then got nicked in the 5th and 6th.  Good overall effort.
3.  Seems like Rollins is finally coming out of his funk a bit.  He's hit in seven in a row, and nine of the last ten games.  Phils need more from him to have even a shot at the division or wild card.
4.  Burrell is in a streak right now where it's all-or-nothing.  6-for-37 in the last ten games (.162), and three of those six hits have been homers.  Because of the homers, Burrell has nine RBI in those 10 games.
5.  A PINCH HITTER FINALLY DID SOMETHING!   :yay
6.  Tom Gordon watch:  1.61 ERA, 2-2 with 18 saves.  Billy Wagner watch:  2.40 ERA, 3-0, 12 saves.  Wagner's been money lately, though.
7.  Tomorrow: Cole Hamels vs. Shawn Hill.   Weird trivia:  What do these two pitchers have in common?

Duh, both their last names begin with the same letter. What do I win?
